To ensure the safety of both parties in transactions and enhance the credibility of registered users on our Platform (VOOX), we provide P2P merchant verification service. You must provide authentic personal information to complete the merchant verification. The Platform reserves the right to verify the information you provide through legal means; however, due to the virtual nature of the internet and verification limitations, the Platform does not guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of the verified merchant's identity.
The provisions of this agreement are closely related to your rights and obligations. Please read all of its content carefully before applying for merchant verification. Once you initiate the verification process, you acknowledge that you fully understand and agree to accept all terms of this agreement.
Definition and Changes to Verification Service
- The P2P merchant verification service allows merchants who provide reliable identity information and pay a certain security deposit to enjoy specific privileges and assume certain obligations on this Platform. Unless required by law or agreed otherwise, once your merchant verification on this Platform is completed, the identity information and verification result will not be modified or canceled for any reason. If your identity information changes after verification, you must provide proof from relevant authorities to the Platform, which will assist you in updating your verification information.
- To provide better services and ensure transaction security, this Platform reserves the right to modify or adjust the content of this agreement based on changing circumstances. Revised agreement will be updated on the Platform without separate notice to you. By continuing to use the Platform's services after any modifications or changes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the revised agreement. If you disagree with the revised content, you should immediately request to deactivate the verification service.
II. Rights of Verified P2P Merchants
- This Platform will provide a unique verified merchant identifier or logo to successfully verified merchants, which distinguishes them from unverified merchants on the Platform.
- Verified merchants may publish compliant transaction advertisements on this Platform.
III. Required Verification Documents and Security Deposit
- Merchant Personal Information: Please complete and upload the merchant application form.
- Security Deposit: To be verified as merchant, a security deposit must be paid to the Platform. The security deposit will be allocated to the verified merchant's security deposit account. Verified merchants cannot trade or transfer funds from this account within a specified period.
IV. Use of Merchant Verification Information
Merchant Verification Information Report: The verification information you provide to this Platform during the verification process is irrevocably authorized to be retained by this Platform. Unless required by law or agreed otherwise, the Platform commits not to edit or disclose your verification information to any third party, nor use it for commercial purposes, except in the following circumstances:
- You authorize the Platform to disclose relevant information.
- The Platform provides information to national judicial or administrative authorities.
- The Platform shares information with its affiliates.
- A third party working with the Platform to provide services needs certain information (excluding bank account information) to serve you.
- To resolve civil disputes between you and a third party, the Platform may provide your identity information to the third party.
V. Use of Security Deposit
The security deposit is intended to secure transactions conducted on this Platform. If a dispute arises during a transaction and you are deemed responsible and required to act accordingly but fail to cooperate, the Platform has the right to dispose of the security deposit. Such actions may include but are not limited to withholding, freezing, or direct payment to the counterparty.
VI. Links to Third-Party Websites
For identity information verification purposes, this Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., online banking websites) (hereafter referred to as "Linked Websites"). Linked Websites are not controlled by this Platform. The Platform is not responsible for any content on Linked Websites, including any changes or updates. The Platform does not accept liability for transmissions received from Linked Websites.
VII. Prohibition of Illegal or Prohibited Use
Acceptance of this agreement is a prerequisite for your verified merchant application. You declare and guarantee that you will not use verified merchant services for any illegal or prohibited purposes under this agreement. You will not use the service in a manner that could damage, disable, overload, or harm other websites or services of the Platform or interfere with others’ use of verified merchant services. You will not attempt to obtain any information through unauthorized means on the Platform.
VIII. Disclaimer
The Platform shall not be liable for any personal data or information disclosure under the following circumstances:
- Information leakage occurs when you share your account password or fail to secure it, or due to any other fault not attributable to this platform.
- Any impact caused by hacker attacks, computer virus infections or outbreaks, adjustments in telecommunications sector, shutdowns resulting from government policies or legal regulations, disruptions caused by third-party factors (including force majeure events such as failures in international backbone routes, international telecommunications service providers, fires, floods, lightning strikes, earthquakes, typhoons, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, epidemics, pandemics, strikes, wars, acts of violence, or similar events), and other incidents not attributable to this platform that lead to the leakage, loss, theft, or alteration of verification information;
- Disclosure of bank account information due to linked sites (e.g., online banks) or resulting legal disputes;
- Inability to pass verification or losses caused by providing incorrect, incomplete, or false information to the Platform.
IX. Special Statements
- The Platform’s verification of verified merchants' basic information and security deposit requirements does not guarantee 100% credibility of verified merchants or indicate any warranty relationship. Users should strictly follow the transaction process, conduct thorough reviews, and communicate to ensure transaction and asset security. Additionally, due to the special nature of digital asset transactions, you must remain vigilant regarding anti-money laundering risks and comply with KYC principles to understand your counterparty’s identity. Otherwise, you may face asset freezes if the counterparty is involved in criminal activities.
- Veified merchants guarantee that the information provided to the Platform is truthful and legal. The Platform may revoke verification and retain the security deposit if falsified or illegal information is found.
X. Cancellation of P2P Merchant Verification
If a verified merchant wishes to cancel Merchant Verification, he/she must submit an application to the Platform. If there is no record of misconduct or legal violations during the period as a verified merchant, the Platform will process the request within two working days and transfer the funds from the security deposit account to an operational account.
Disclaimer: If fraudulent activity, such as wash trading to boost monthly transaction performance, is detected, the VOOX team reserves the right to suspend or terminate your P2P activities.
