What is Google Authenticator?
To ensure account security, the platform offers two-factor authentication, including the use of Google Authenticator or SMS verification codes. Users are advised to choose at least the combination of "Google + Email + Transaction Password" or "Phone + Transaction Password" to ensure the safety of their assets.
Google Authenticator generates a unique verification code every 30 seconds via the Google Authenticator app. Even if someone gains access to your login password, they will still need this code to access your account. This provides an additional layer of security to prevent account theft. Given the decentralized and irreversible nature of blockchain, once assets are stolen, they cannot be recovered.
By using two-factor authentication, users can significantly reduce the risk of asset loss due to password leaks.
